Chaplaincy Group

Meet our Chaplaincy Group
The chaplaincy group is a group of six children from Year 6 as well as Mrs Poulter and Mrs Gander. Their role is to support pupils across the school in developing and deepening their faith.
What do they do?
- Lead and support whole school and class Celebrations of the Word.
- Support pupils in developing their understanding of the importance of liturgical events
- Support pupils to 'put their faith into action' through the principles of Catholic Social Teaching
- Ensure the school environment reflects our faith and to look after our prayer spaces
- To show 'preferential option for the poor' and lead the school in fundraising for our chosen charities
