February Reading Challenge

The Silly Spot Reading Challenge What a Fantastic February!

What an incredible February we’ve had with our Silly Spot Reading Challenge!

Our amazing young readers truly embraced the fun and creativity of the challenge and they did not disappoint. From the moment it began, children were on the lookout for the most unusual, imaginative silly places to enjoy their books.

And wow did they find them!

We saw children reading:

  • Under tables and desks
  • Curled up in cupboards
  • Snuggled in blankets like book burritos
  • Perched in cosy corners
  • Even in some wonderfully surprising spots that made us all smile!

The creativity, enthusiasm and joy in every photo was simply fantastic. It was clear that reading wasn’t just a task it was an adventure.

A Celebration of Reading

Beyond the silliness, something truly special happened this month. Children:

  • Discovered new stories
  • Built their confidence
  • Strengthened their reading skills
  • Shared laughter with friends and family

Most importantly, they showed that reading can happen anywhere and that books make every place a little more magical.

We absolutely loved seeing all the photos and celebrating each child’s unique “silly spot.” Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make this challenge such a success.

Here’s to many more reading adventures ahead!

Keep reading, keep imagining and keep finding those wonderfully silly spots.
